Mark grew up in a devout Catholic family and faithfully served as a alter boy, however, something was missing in the emptiness of his ritualistic prayers. His wife Trisha was from a strict Polish Catholic background that took pride in Catholicism’s great advancements in American life in the 1960’s. As personal difficulties and family tragedy strike, the Parrent’s find security in Christ alone and not in a Church.
